Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the half-day and full-day tours?
The half-day tour runs from approximately 1:45 PM to 6:00 PM and covers the city's historical sites plus the Reptile Centre. The full-day option adds a morning visit to Alice Springs Desert Park, with a break back at your hotel for lunch before the afternoon city tour begins.
Is hotel pickup included, and does it cover all Alice Springs accommodation?
Yes, shared round-trip transfers from your Alice Springs hotel are included. Pickup windows are 1:00–1:45 PM for the half-day tour and 7:35–8:15 AM for the full-day tour. Confirm your hotel details at booking.
Can children join the tour, and is there a child price?
Children under 2 travel free but no seat is provided. All guests under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 or over. Child ticket prices are available at checkout.
Is the reptile handling safe for nervous visitors?
Handling is supervised throughout by the Reptile Centre's experienced staff. Only smaller, docile reptiles are used for handling — participation is entirely optional if you'd prefer to watch.
Can I cancel if my plans change?
Cancellation terms are displayed at checkout before you confirm your booking. We recommend checking the specific policy for your chosen date at the time of purchase.
Will the itinerary definitely follow this order?
The sequence and timing are subject to change due to weather or traffic conditions. Your driver-guide will manage any adjustments on the day to ensure all key sites are covered.
