Flexibility matters when you travel. Here's how cancellations, changes and refunds work — the exact terms for your booking are always shown before you pay.

Cancellation terms vary by Experience and are set by each Operator. The specific policy for your booking is shown on the product page and at checkout, and on your confirmation — that policy takes precedence over the general guidance below.
This page explains how cancellations, changes and refunds generally work on BeTheGuests.
Many Experiences offer free cancellation up to 24 hours (sometimes 48 or 72 hours) before the start time. Where free cancellation applies and you cancel within the stated window, you receive a full refund of the Experience price.
Some Experiences are non-refundable — for example time-specific tickets or special events. This is clearly labelled before you pay. Non-refundable bookings cannot be refunded if you cancel or do not attend, except where required by law or where the Operator cancels.
You can request a cancellation or change from your Bookings page, or by contacting us at admin@betheguests.com with your order reference.
Cancellations take effect when we confirm them. We recommend cancelling as early as possible to stay within any free-cancellation window.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Once processed, they typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Any booking/service fee is generally non-refundable, except where the Operator cancels the Experience or where a full refund is required by law.
Where an Operator allows date or time changes, you can request these subject to availability. Price differences may apply. If a change isn’t possible, the standard cancellation terms for the Experience apply.
If an Operator cancels your Experience, you are entitled to a full refund or, where available, an alternative date or comparable Experience. We will contact you using your booking details.
Some Experiences may be cancelled for safety (e.g. severe weather) or due to events beyond anyone’s control. In these cases the Operator’s weather/force-majeure terms apply, which usually offer a reschedule or refund.
If you do not arrive at the meeting point on time with a valid voucher or ticket, the booking is generally treated as used and is not refundable.
