About this experience
Standing at 328 metres, the Sky Tower is the tallest man-made structure in New Zealand. It offers 360-degree views of up to 80 kilometres in every direction, allowing you to see the city's major landmarks, volcanoes, and other historical locations within the greater Auckland area. You will be riding glass-fronted elevators, which can fit up to 225 people at a time, to reach the observation levels in just 40 seconds.

Do I need to print my ticket?
No. A mobile ticket displayed on your phone is accepted at the entrance — a screenshot works fine if you are concerned about connectivity.
What is the difference between peak and non-peak tickets?
Peak tickets cover busier periods (typically weekends and high season) and are priced accordingly. Non-peak tickets apply during quieter times. The experience and views are identical for both.
What are the opening hours?
From May to October the tower is open daily 09:00–22:00 (last entry 21:30). From November to April it opens at 08:30; closing time is 22:30 Sunday to Thursday (last entry 22:00) and 23:30 on Fridays and Saturdays (last entry 23:00).
Can the tower close unexpectedly?
Yes. In extreme weather conditions the Sky Tower may close for safety reasons, and operating hours can change without prior notice. Check the official Sky Tower website on the day of your visit.
Is entry free for young children?
Children aged five and under enter free of charge — no ticket needed for them.
Is the Sky Tower accessible for visitors with mobility needs?
