Frequently asked questions
Do I need a driving licence to take part?
Yes. All drivers must be 18 years or older and hold a valid driving licence. Tandem passengers must be at least 12 years old and do not need a licence.
What's the difference between the 2-lap and 3-lap options?
Both cover the same 4.5km jungle circuit — you simply complete two or three full laps. The 3-lap option gives you more time on the track and is the better choice if you want to push harder on your second and third runs.
Can I book without transfers and add them later?
The ticket options without transfers are priced lower for those making their own way to Taro. If you'd prefer transfers included, select one of the options that bundles round-trip shared transfers at the time of booking.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. A mobile ticket on your phone is accepted at the venue.
What should I wear on the buggy?
Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended — trainers or sturdy sandals with a back strap work well. Wear clothes you're comfortable getting dusty, as the circuit runs on dirt and gravel.
Is this experience suitable for people who've never driven an off-road vehicle?
The buggies are designed to be driven by anyone with a standard driving licence. The circuit is purpose-built, so there are no public roads or unpredictable terrain — it's challenging and fun without requiring specialist skills.
