About this experience
Founded in 1997 within Ubud's hinterlands, Mason Elephant Park Bali (formerly known as Elephant Safari Park) was created in response to the challenges faced by the Sumatran forest and wildlife. As Bali's premier elephant rescue haven, Mason shelters 31 critically endangered Sumatran elephants, including six born on these very grounds. The sanctuary spans 4.5 hectares of carefully landscaped terrain in central Bali, recreating the natural habitat of the elephants' native home in Sumatra.

Frequently asked questions
Can children take part in all the experiences?
Children under 5 are classed as infants and require a separate infant ticket for admission, transfers, the Elephant Safari Ride and Safari Under the Stars packages — these can be bought directly at the park. Infants are not permitted to join the Elephant Jumbo Wash or Elephant Bathe and Breakfast activities.
Do I need to print my ticket, or is a mobile ticket accepted?
A mobile ticket displayed on your phone is accepted at the gate, so there is no need to print anything.
Is the park suitable for visitors with limited mobility?
The park covers 4.5 hectares of landscaped terrain. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for all visitors; if you have specific accessibility requirements, contact the park directly before your visit.
What is the difference between the Indonesian Citizens and International Travellers ticket options?
Mason Elephant Park offers separate pricing tiers for Indonesian citizens and international visitors, as is standard practice at many Indonesian attractions. Select the correct category when booking.
What does the Waterbom Bali combo ticket include?
The combo pairs a fixed-date entry to Waterbom Bali with an open-dated admission to Mason Elephant Park, giving you flexibility on when you visit the elephant park while locking in your Waterbom day.
What should I wear or bring to the park?
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat, sun protection, insect repellent, swimwear and a change of clothes. Towels and shower facilities are provided on site.
