Frequently asked questions
Do I need any cooking experience to join?
None at all. The class is designed for complete beginners as well as more confident home cooks — the instructor guides you through every step.
What's the difference between the morning, afternoon, and evening classes?
The morning class includes a visit to a local market before you cook. Afternoon and evening classes skip the market and go straight into the kitchen, with the meal served as dinner.
Is a vegetarian version of the class available?
Yes. A vegetarian menu is available — just let the school know when you make your booking and they'll arrange it.
Can I bring my child?
Children aged 6 and over are welcome, provided a paying adult accompanies them throughout the class. Children under 6 are not able to participate.
Where exactly is the school and how do I get there?
The school is on Decho Road in the Silom district of Bang Rak, Bangkok. Silom is well connected by BTS Skytrain (Chong Nonsi or Sala Daeng stations) and taxi.
Will I get the recipes to use at home?
Yes — you'll leave with the recipes for everything you cooked so you can recreate the dishes back home.
