Frequently asked questions
Where do I board the bus?
You can board at any of the six designated stops on the Red Route. Gare Centrale is the main reference point, but there is no requirement to start there — join wherever is most convenient.
When does my pass start — from midnight or from first use?
Your pass activates from the moment you first board the bus, not from midnight on the date you select. A 24-hour pass is valid for 24 consecutive hours from that first tap-on.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. A mobile ticket displayed on your phone is accepted on board. If you prefer, you can also print it.
Is the tour suitable for young children?
Yes. The audio guide includes a dedicated children's channel in English, French and Dutch. Children under 4 travel free but are not allocated a separate seat.
How often do buses run, and what are the operating hours?
Bus frequency and daily hours can vary by season. Check the official Tootbus website or the Tootbus app for up-to-date timetables before your visit.
Can I cancel my booking if my plans change?
Cancellation terms depend on the policy applied at the time of booking. Check the cancellation details shown during checkout before confirming your purchase.
