You will be guided by a skilled punter dressed in a traditional Edwardian attire, as you pass by woodlands and leafy banks. You will also get to appreciate the beauty of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, a 21-hectare park divided into 10 different areas.

How long does the punt ride last?
The ride is 30 minutes from departure to return.
What are the operating hours?
From 1 October to 31 March, punts run from 09:00 to 18:00. From 1 April to 30 September, hours are 10:00 to 16:00. Hours may change without prior notice, so check ahead if your visit is time-sensitive.
What happens if the weather is bad?
In cases of extreme weather, the activity may be cancelled for safety reasons. If this affects your booking, please contact the operator directly.
Do children need a ticket?
Children aged four and under are free of charge, but they must share a seat with a parent or guardian. Children aged five and above require a paid ticket.
Is Mona Vale available year-round?
The Mona Vale Homestead and Mona Vale Avenue departure point is closed in winter and only available on summer weekends. Cambridge Terrace is the main year-round departure point.
Can I show my ticket on my phone?
Yes — a mobile booking confirmation is accepted. There is no need to print anything.
