About this experience
Located to the northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi underground tunnels stretch across 250 kilometres. Built in the Indochina War against the French, they sheltered revolutionaries and later evolved into a versatile complex for Communist guerrillas during the Vietnam War. Beyond their role as shelters, these tunnels functioned as communication routes, discreet living quarters, and a defense against the constant threat of airstrikes.

Which tour option should I choose?
The Standard Tour (English or Mandarin) is the most popular choice for independent travellers. The Morning and Afternoon Premier tours offer different departure times — morning if you want your afternoon free, afternoon if you prefer a slower start to your day.
Can I cancel if my plans change?
Please check the cancellation policy shown at checkout for this specific ticket option, as terms can vary by tour type.
Is the tour suitable for people with claustrophobia?
The tunnels are narrow and low — some sections require crouching or crawling. Guests with claustrophobia or anxiety in confined spaces should consider carefully before booking.
Are there any restrictions on who can enter the tunnels?
The tunnels are not suitable for pregnant guests, those with heart conditions, or anyone weighing over 90 kg. The site is also not wheelchair-accessible.
Is there an extra charge on public holidays?
Yes — a surcharge of VND 150,000 per person applies on 1 January, 15–19 February, 26 April, 30 April, 1 May, 1–2 September, and 31 December 2026. This is paid directly on site and is not included in your booking price.
