Frequently asked questions
Do I need canyoning experience to join?
No prior experience is needed. The activity is graded at a moderate fitness level and your guide will brief you on every step before you attempt it.
Can I join if I'm not a strong swimmer?
Basic swimming skills are an advantage but are not a requirement. The guide and safety equipment are there to support all participants in the water.
Is there an age or weight limit?
Participants must be at least 12 years old. There is also a maximum weight limit of 125 kg for all participants, for safety reasons.
Which departure point should I choose — Zurich or Lucerne?
Choose whichever city you're staying in or travelling through. Both options go to the same canyoning location in the Bernese Oberland; the only difference is the pick-up point.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
Canyoning takes place in all but the most extreme weather conditions. If the activity is cancelled by the operator due to safety concerns, you will be offered a rebooking or refund. Check the cancellation policy at checkout for full details.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. A mobile ticket is accepted — simply show your booking confirmation on your phone at the meeting point.
