Frequently asked questions
Do I need to print my ticket, or is a phone screen accepted?
Either works for the exchange — show your e-ticket on your phone or as a printout at the Kansai Limousine Bus ticket office. You will then receive a physical boarding ticket, which is what you actually need to board the bus.
Where exactly do I collect my physical ticket at the airport?
The Kansai Limousine Bus ticket offices are located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Kansai International Airport. Full redemption point details are available on the operator's website at kate.co.jp.
How much luggage can I bring?
Each passenger may bring up to two pieces of luggage with a combined weight of no more than 30 kilograms. Staff will load bags into the hold.
Can my young child travel for free?
Children under 6 travel free of charge, provided they share a seat with an accompanying adult and do not occupy a seat of their own. If your child needs their own seat, a child ticket must be purchased on-site at the bus stop.
How do I know which bus departure to catch?
Timetables are published and regularly updated on the operator's website at kate.co.jp/en/timetable/index. Check there for the latest schedule before your travel date.
Is this service available to residents as well as tourists?
The service is valid for international travellers only. Domestic residents are not eligible to use this ticket.
