Can I use this pass on the Kintetsu Limited Express?
The pass covers unlimited standard Kintetsu and Iga-Tetsudo services, but it does not include the Limited Express (tokkyu). You can still board those trains by paying the separate limited express surcharge at the station.
Does one 'day' mean 24 hours from first use?
No. A day runs from your first journey of that calendar day to the last train or bus of the same day — not 24 hours from activation. If you first tap in during the evening, the pass is still only valid until the last service that night.
Can I cancel if my plans change?
Yes. A full refund is available provided the pass has not been used and you cancel at least 24 hours before your selected travel date.
I bought two passes in one transaction — can I use them on different days?
No. Passes purchased in the same transaction are activated simultaneously. If you want to start them on different days, purchase each pass in a separate transaction.
Will a screenshot or printed copy of my pass be accepted?
No. Staff will only accept the live digital pass shown on your smartphone via the activation link. Screenshots and printouts are not valid.
Who is eligible to buy this pass?
The Kintetsu Rail Pass is available exclusively to non-Japanese citizens. Children under 6 travel free and do not need a pass.
