Is Windsor Castle open every day?
Windsor Castle is closed to visitors on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and on 25–26 December. On those days the visit shifts to St George's Chapel and Queen Mary's Doll's House. Note that St George's Chapel is itself closed on Sundays, in which case extra time is given to explore the castle precincts.
What exactly is included in the lunch?
A one-course meal at the George Inn in Lacock village is included. If the George Inn is unavailable, an alternative venue of a similar standard will be used. Depending on the day's running order, the meal may be served in the late afternoon rather than at midday.
Where does the tour end, and how do I get back to central London?
The tour drops off near Gloucester Road underground station (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines), making it straightforward to reach most parts of central London. Arrival is approximately 21:00.
