Where exactly do I pick up the bike?
The rental shop is at 1431 Ocean Ave, Santa Monica — a short walk from Santa Monica Pier. Look for the Unlimited Biking signage on Ocean Avenue.
Do I need to return the bike by a specific time?
Yes. All bikes must be returned before the shop closes. The last rental of the day begins two hours before closing — typically 5 PM (April–October) or 3 PM (November–March). Check the operator's website for the latest hours before you travel.
Is a security deposit required, and how does it work?
A refundable security deposit is held on a credit card at the time of pick-up. Debit cards are not accepted for the deposit. The hold is released when the bike is returned undamaged.
Can my child come along?
Children under 12 months are not permitted. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tag-a-long attachments and toddler trailers are available at an extra cost on arrival (subject to availability) for children under 120 cm and 45 kg.
Do I need to print my ticket?
A mobile ticket is accepted — simply show your booking confirmation on your phone at the counter.
What is the weight limit for the bikes?
The maximum weight per bike is 136 kg (approximately 300 lbs). Riders must also know how to ride a bicycle independently before hiring.
