Frequently asked questions
Does this ticket let me skip the queue entirely?
You bypass the box office queue and go straight to the boarding gate. You will still pass through a standard security check, so arrive 45–60 minutes before your departure.
Which pier does this cruise leave from?
All departures on this ticket are from Pier 16 at South Street Seaport, Downtown Manhattan. Circle Line also operates from Pier 83 in Midtown — that is a separate, different product.
Do we actually land on Liberty Island?
No. The cruise pauses in front of the Statue of Liberty for photos but does not dock at Liberty Island. If you want to go ashore, you would need a separate Statue of Liberty ferry ticket.
Is the cruise accessible for wheelchair users?
Standard manual wheelchairs are accommodated on the first floor of all vessels except The Beast. Electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot board at the downtown location due to the narrow gangway width.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The boats operate in all weather. Each vessel has a temperature-controlled indoor cabin as well as an open-air deck, so you can choose where to sit on the day.
My child is under 3 — do I still need a ticket for them?
Children under 3 travel free of charge, but they still need an admission ticket. You must collect this at the box office on arrival rather than booking it online.
