- 1Download the Discover Seoul Pass app (Google Play or App Store). In the 'More' tab, tap 'Pass Registration', then 'Register Mobile Pass', and enter the activation code from your voucher. Your pass activates the first time you use it at an included attraction — scanning your eSIM or transit card does not start the clock. For Lotte World specifically, head to the South Gate foreign ticket booth to collect a physical entry ticket.

Frequently asked questions
When does the pass timer start?
The clock starts the first time you use the pass to enter an included attraction. Activating the eSIM or using a transit/prepaid card does not trigger the timer, so you can set up your connectivity before your sightseeing begins.
Can I get a refund if my plans change?
Yes. Refunds are available within 30 days of your booking date, as long as the pass is completely unused — meaning no attractions have been visited and no related services have been used.
Do I need to print anything?
No. The pass is entirely digital. You register and use it through the Discover Seoul Pass app on your smartphone.
Which pass type should I choose?
If you plan to visit many different attractions, the 72-hour or 120-hour time-based passes offer the broadest access. If you have a shorter list of must-sees, the Pick 3 passes (Basic for general attractions, Theme Park for rides and parks) let you pay only for what you'll actually use.
Is the pass available to Korean citizens?
No. The Discover Seoul Pass is valid for international travellers only and cannot be used by Korean nationals.
Is Lotte World always open with the pass?
Lotte World is included but will be closed on 29 April 2026. If your visit falls on that date, plan an alternative attraction. Redemption at Lotte World requires visiting the South Gate foreign ticket booth.
