Depart Seoul

Do I need skiing experience to join this tour?
No. Elysian Gangchon's slopes cater to all abilities, and the ski and snowboard ticket options include a basic group lesson. The self-guided option also allows sledding, which requires no prior experience.
What's the difference between the three ticket options?
The Self-Guided Tour covers transport and the guide only — activities are at your own cost. The Ski and Snowboard options each include equipment rental, a lift pass, moving walk access and a basic group lesson.
Can children join the tour?
Yes. Children under 3 travel free but do not have a reserved seat. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult on the sled. Skiing and snowboarding are only available for children aged 7 and above due to safety and equipment sizing.
Is equipment hire included, or do I need to bring my own gear?
Ski or snowboard equipment is included in the relevant ticket options. Goggles, helmets, knee pads and hip pads can be rented separately at the resort for an additional fee; cash payment is recommended.
Where does the tour start and end?
The tour departs from a pick-up point in Seoul (selected at booking). At the end of the day, drop-off is at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, Lotte Department Store Myeongdong, or Hongik University Station.
