Do I need to book a specific time slot in advance?
Yes, you select a start time when booking (slots run from 09:00 to 13:00). Please note that your chosen time slot is not guaranteed and may be adjusted subject to availability on the day.
What ID or deposit do I need to bring?
You have two options: bring a copy of your ID or passport and pay a 50,000 KRW deposit, or leave your original ID or passport and pay a reduced 10,000 KRW deposit. For group bookings of up to six people, only one ID is required.
Which palaces offer free entry when wearing a hanbok?
Free entry applies at Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace and other participating royal sites in Seoul. Check current palace policies on arrival, as these can occasionally change.
Can children wear a hanbok too?
Yes, hanboks are available in sizes for men, women and children, so the whole family can take part.
What happens if I want to try on more than two outfits?
Each booking includes two fitting sessions. If you'd like additional fittings beyond those two, a charge of 2,000 KRW per extra fitting applies.
