Frequently asked questions
Which altitude should I choose?
9,000ft gives roughly 10–15 seconds of freefall and suits first-timers on a tighter budget. 12,000ft extends freefall to around 40 seconds. 15,000ft is the signature jump — approximately 60 seconds of freefall and the widest views. If this is your first time, 12,000ft is the most popular middle ground.
What happens if the weather is bad on my jump day?
Skydiving is weather-dependent. If conditions are unsafe, the operator may reschedule or cancel your jump at short notice. In this case you will not be charged for a jump that did not take place. Check the cancellation policy at time of booking for full details.
I weigh over 95kg — can I still jump?
Possibly, yes. Guests weighing 95kg or more are subject to an assessment at the drop zone on the day. A weight surcharge of NZD 50–75 may apply and is paid on-site. Contact us before booking if you have any concerns.
Can I bring my child?
Children under 6 years old cannot participate. Those under 18 must provide written parental or guardian consent before jumping, and all minors are subject to the instructor's assessment on the day.
Do I need to print my ticket?
A mobile ticket is accepted — you can show your booking confirmation on your phone at check-in. A printed copy is also fine if you prefer.
I have a heart condition or recent surgery — am I eligible?
Guests with heart conditions, epilepsy, recent injuries or surgeries, or mobility issues are subject to assessment at the drop zone before jumping. We recommend contacting the operator in advance to discuss your specific situation.
